Booking conditions
Booking confirmation
Once we receive your request by email at post@fjordcycling.no, we will check availability and send you a written offer and confirmation.
Our prices are based on a minimum of two people. Single travelers are subject to a supplement. If there are no other bookings on the same dates, a single luggage transfer supplement of 2900 NOK applies.
Non refundable deposit
The deposit is 3000 NOK per person.
Once we confirm the tour itinerary in writing by email, the deposit is non-refundable. It can be paid when booking the tour on our website or by bank transfer.
Final payment
The invoice for the remaining tour balance will be sent by email no later than 45 days before departure. A 3.25% credit card fee will be added to the balance when paying by credit card.
Prices – changes and regulations
We reserve the right to adjust prices in response to unforeseen regulatory changes. Any changes will be communicated in writing in advance, and no later than 30 days before the tour begins.
Changes made after the booking has been confirmed will incur a fee of 500 NOK per booking. Any additional supplier costs resulting from the change will be added to this fee.
Travel Insurance
Valid travel insurance is required. Travelers should review their policy terms and ensure they are covered for cancellations due to illness or other circumstances that may prevent them from travelling as planned.
Cancellation charges
Cancellation must be confirmed to our e-mail: post@fjordcycling.no.
- until 60 days before day of departure: Deposit of 3000 NOK
- 59 – 31 days before day of departure: 50 % of the total price
- Less than 30 days before departure or no show: 100 % of the price
Responsibility
Fjord Cycling is not liable for any damage, injury or accident that may occur while using our bicycles. Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance coverage for any damage or incidents that may arise during the tour, including accidents, careless use of bicycles or equipment, and other related events. Damage to a bicycle will be charged at the cost of repair. If a bicycle is lost or damaged beyond repair, the guest must pay 9,000 NOK per hybrid bike and 40,000 NOK per electric bike.
Fjord Cycling is not responsible for injuries or accidents travelers may experience while hiking, cycling or taking part in other activities. Any damage to third parties or property must be covered by the guest’s insurance.
Luggage transport
Luggage transport includes one piece of luggage per person. This service is used at the traveler’s own risk, and any damage or loss must be covered by the traveler’s travel insurance.
Complaints
Any complaints must be reported to us as soon as possible. For complaints concerning accommodation or food, travelers must notify us promptly; otherwise, they may lose the right to compensation. Ref. The Package Travel Act. Complaints must be submitted no later than one month after the tour.
Illness/allergies
Please inform us of any allergies, illnesses or other circumstances that may affect your booking when making your reservation.
